Protein bites to make your afternoons even better

One of the principles of a balanced diet is to always have some comfort food for those moments of uncontrollable desire to eat something different and delicious. As I always say, “whoever organizes, has it!”

Glucose levels tend to drop in the afternoon. This is why we always crave sweets in the middle of the day. This is the period when vata predominates in the Ayurveda clock. Let's learn how to create an easy sweetie rich in protein. Check it out!

Ingredients: 1 cup oatmeal; 1/2 cup peanut butter; 1/4 cup organic maple syrup; 3 tablespoons flaxseed meal; 1/2 dessert spoon cinnamon powder; 1 scoop unflavored whey protein; 1 tbs chocolate chips with no added sugars.

Add all the ingredients in a bowl and mix until you reach the consistency you need to handle. Shape into balls and place on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet. Let it rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
