To restore physical and psychic balance, the body needs to be in movement, and food needs to be in balance with the dosha, establishing herbal and nutritional routines.

For Ayurveda, the human body has three biological profiles: Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Operating in both physiology and psychology, biological profiles are biological humors known as doshas.

Anyway, while you discover your dosha, let's get to know the Kapha dosha imbalance foods?

To achieve Kapha dosha balance, prioritize apples, pears and melons among fruits, and also enjoy all berries, fruits should be low in sugar. Cabbage and spinach are the vegetables to prioritize, along with carrots, beets and broccoli. For grains and beans, prioritize lentils, chickpeas and quinoa. Among dairy, try focusing on plant-based milk. Among foods of animal origin, prioritize white meats such as chicken and freshwater fish.

Avoid bananas, figs and mangoes among fruits. Tomatoes, eggplant and potatoes should be avoided among vegetables, as well as pumpkin. grains and beans like rice, oats and wheat should be avoided. Among dairy products, avoid yogurt and cow's milk, and among meats, avoid pork and red meat.
